Fernando Farfán

I was born in Guatemala, where I received my BS in Computer Science at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala in 2001.

I got my Masters degree in Computer and Information Sciences at Florida International University in 2005, granted with a Fulbright Scholarship.

Right now, I am pursuing my PhD degree in Computer Science at FIU, under the advise of Dr. Vagelis Hristidis and Dr. Raju Rangaswami. My area of research is Databases and Storage.
